Floella & Matthew’s wedding @ Lyde Court in Hereford

10 July 2015

On our way to our wedding gig at Lyde Court, we found a lovely little shop which sold great local produce. We couldn’t resist doing some food shopping and between the two of us, bought 30 eggs, lots of fruits and veg, and one of the best date cakes ever!

Floella & Matthew’s first dance was ‘Everlong’ by the Foo Fighters (the acoustic version). We really enjoyed playing it for them, as we all love this song. Straight after the first dance, we kicked off with ‘Place your hands’ by Reef.

Loved this feature, what a great idea…

As you can see from the photos below, Lyde Court is a stunning venue and the happy couple did a great job with the decorations…

This was our chill-out area (between sets) where we also had our dinner.

This was the view from upstairs. Lyde court offered a fantastic stage for the band to rock out on!

…and just to make sure we didn’t get lost…

In addition to our regular line up, we had the fantastic Piers Green on Saxophone.

Tonight we had the wonderful Rose Kimberley on singing duties and James ‘the chops’ Palmer on drums

We all had a fantastic night, and as you can see (from the photos below), everyone was up for a party!

Was great fun playing ‘Soul man’ by Sam & Dave, ‘Basket Case’ by Greenday, ‘You shook me all night long’ by ACDC and ‘Naive’ by The kooks, some great additions to the setlist…

Rose couldn’t resist jumping in the crowd and getting everyone involved with the singing.

Platinum also had fun in the photo area (after two great sets of live music of course)…
