Hall Place & Gardens Hall Place is a stunning Tudor house with magnificent gardens sitting on the banks of the River Cray in Bexley. (below you will find a bit more infos on this stunning building, we love history so couldn’t resist)

Hall Place is a Grade I listed country house built in 1537 for former Lord Mayor of London, Sir John Champneys. The Tudor house, that has recently been extensively restored, boasts a panelled Great Hall with minstrel’s gallery. 17th century additions and improvements include a vaulted Long Gallery and splendid Drawing Room with fine plaster ceiling.

Set in award-winning gardens on the banks of the River Cray with magnificent topiary, enclosed gardens and inspirational herbaceous borders. In the walled gardens there are sub-tropical glasshouses and a nursery selling plants grown in the Hall Place gardens.

The night was really fun, rosalind & Thomas’s guest were a great crowd and well up for a boogie on the dance floor. We really enjoyed playing songs such as ‘Soul man’ by Sam & Dave, ‘You never can tell’ by  Chuck Berry, ‘Basket case’ by Greenday, ‘Raise your glass’ by Pink as we don’t always play them, it’s good for us to keep our set list exciting…
